Sorry for the delay in response! This is the first time I’ve logged in since I returned. If I remember correctly, we were only allowed to take photos if we bought the photo pass for 200 rubles, which I did at almost every place we went to that had that option.

Caleb in 1948 New Years eve I had duty in Times Square New York and it was reaining as we arrived on site that later turned to snow and my uniform and equipment became very haevy by 2AM when we were released and went back to Ft Monmouth NJ. I,m glad you had fun and enyoyed it. I was just 19 at the time.

Caleb, Your photos & comments regarding Salzburg & Vienna are great. I’m amazed at your interest & determinstion to see so much of Europe on your trip home from Russia. I don’t think that many young men your age would be so dedicated. It makes me proud of you, but it,also, makes me realize, how, being so much older I now don’t have a desire to travel! I’m in Prague now, just came from Berlin for New Years. I’m jealous of the snow in Idaho. The snow in Berlin was constantly falling but there were no mountains. It would be fun to get out there and do some boarding before the winter ends. I return to CA on the 9th of Jan.

As it was very fun to see you all again. Even though the dinner was stressful at times, it was fun getting into that mess as I kind of engineered it myself getting greedy and trying to eat faster than I could handle. So I got a good laugh at myself. I’ll stop by next time I’m in Switzerland! I’m having a blast right now in Prague. Oh and hey, Urs told me your a damn good DJ. I wanna see how you DJ next time, I wish I could do stuff like that.

Yea Switzerland is very beautiful. Roger puts a lot of time and detail and energy into his cycles. And it pays off; they are amazing machines.
